I have stayed here on my trips for the past 3 years usually at least 4 weeks.
Steve and Mali are really nice people and run a professional establishment.
The food is excellent, the staff helpful and the place is very clean.
The rooms are great, large bedroom with ensuite - really a wet room
in room safe and wifi along with cable / sat tv makes this place the only option for me.

I just wanted to say thanks for a very enjoyable stay, even with the fire alarms! I will definitely recommend the Irish Clock to my friends and on the various boards/forums that I post on. Please thank your wife and the excellent staff - especially the very sweet Em!
All the best and hopefully I will be back in Udon in 2009.

Steve and Mali
A quick note to say thanks so much for taking such good care of the Kiwi and my mate John, these last few days.
We got back to BKK in a whisker over seven hours. Eight Police road blocks but no damage to pocket.. We did see one of the double deck tour buses on fire on the road... Awful really, it was burning up big time so I just hope all the occupants got out ok..
It was a real pleasure to stay in the Irish Clock..... more like staying at home actually than in an hotel which is great for me because I spend about 200 nights each year in hotel rooms around the planet..
Room was great, food excellent, service outstanding.. What more can I say.
I am sorry in some ways to see Yai in the shape she is in but then, she has the important people in her life around her so she is very fortunate in some respects. I think that you and Mali are Saints to take on that task and run a business at the same time plus take care of family and errant travellers like me!! Can you let me know how things progress?
Sincere thanks once again to you and yr staff The girls in the bar are too good to be true, so friendly and unspoilt. John who has lived in Pattaya for years was amazed at their level of oral English
.... If you are down here at any time let me know... Any thing you need attending here to let me know also I can EMS any thing you want no hassle ... I'm happy to help.
Kind regards

Hi Steve
I would just like to thank yourself, your wife and the lovely ladies of the Irish Clock. Please pass on my gratitude to your wife and all the staff. The hospitality I was shown during my stay, was the best I have encountered yet in Thailand. I can't wait to come to Udon Thani again - but this time it will most likely be in the cooler months.
Thanks again and take care
Tony Youil
